Healthcare Technical Writing – Health Care Concepts – HCC is a health care consulting company that advises medical imaging and technology companies (e.g., Siemens and Fuji) on designing products that best suit the needs of the hospitals that use them. HCC’s sister company, Texas Medical Institute of Technology (TMIT), is a nonprofit that focuses on best practices in health care delivery, offering hospitals free consulting services on how to increase their quality and their bottom line. In the three years I worked there, writing and editing the companies’ Web content was one of my core responsibilities. Journalism Writing – The Daily Texan - The University of Texas’ award-winning school newspaper has one the world’s highest circulations for a college daily paper.
